Friday June 23

We brought Julia to Pototan hospital to get the vaccination. We queued about 20 minutes to the doctor. It was not so quiet place, all the time people going in or out the hospital. And it was the same traffic in the doctor's room. The nurses with patiens were going in and out the doctor's room. Not something that could happen in Finland.

The vaccination and even the needle to be used should be bought separately from one of the pharmacies found in the other side of the hospital yard. The doctor only wrote a small note what is needed and then you should yourself go and buy.

In the hospital we had to walk through the eye clinic to go to the doctor. This was a big mistake as we later found out. There was a eye infection epidemic in the area just going on that time (which we did not know that time). But more about the eye infections later...

In Amamaros Julia was wondering where Tiko had disappeared. My mother-in-law had deciced to punish the poor dog by putting him in the "jail". I said that there is no need to punish the dog. It was children that caused the dog to scratch them. The poor dog even had let the children drag his tail and even ears without getting angry. So the dog was released after couple of hours in "jail".
