Morning we went to the beach. Julia and Annabel had planned to buy some necklace and other jewelry from the saleslady near the beach. We were the first customers in that morning so we managed to bargain the prices. The locals believe that if the first customer of the day will buy something the whole day will be a success.
Later we visited the same saleslady and she said that we had brought her luck the sale had been very good. So the local myth of the first customer of the day had worked. She gave us a free bracelet as a gift of bringing her luck. And she promised good bargain if we later want to buy some of her products.
There was a cockfight arena near Veli's Inn. Today there was a cockfighting event going on. The small street was stucked of parked motorbikes. The ticket to see cockfighting was 300 pesos. But I was not interested of that kind of cruelty so I did not enter.
I still continued the whole day my banana diet because my stomach was not well yet.
In the afternoon we went back to the beach. I tried to avoid the sunshine and stay in the shadow. But still I managed to sunburn my feet.
Julia was keen on diving.
And halo halo tasted good...
